Nick Adamopoulos, Esq.
Nick was born and raised in Webster, and went on to earn his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting with a Finance concentration from North Carolina State University. Nick then returned to Massachusetts and received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, and his LLM in Taxation from Boston University Law School.
After being admitted into the Massachusetts Bar, Nick worked for a law office in Boston that focused on a wide range of tax controversy, business matters, estate planning, probate, and white-collar criminal defense. This experience allowed him to gain a wide range of experience dealing with matters concerning the Internal Revenue Service (including auditors, revenue officers, and special agents), the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, Appellate Tax Board, and United States Tax Court. Nick also worked on white-collar criminal defense matters concerning tax crimes in the US Federal Court.
Nick has also represented several entities navigate the up and coming adult use cannabis industry. He has assisted these groups with negotiations with local municipalities, selectman groups, and planning boards. He has also assisted in preparing the necessary policies and plans to be presented to the Cannabis Control Commission for provisional and final licensure. Nick has represented cannabis cultivators, manufacturers, and retail establishments and has a strong knowledge of the ever changing state regulations to ensure that his clients are in full compliance with the CCC.
Nick is partner and cofounder of Lake Shore Legal, LLC in Webster, Massachusetts, where he currently resides with his growing family. In addition to Massachusetts, he is also admitted to practice law in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.
